A seat for two, together yet apart, an unconventional connection. “The Split Bench” creates a setting to connect and to share. Inspired by art deco curves, but with a simplistic connection of materials, the bench’s presence takes advantage of its light and airy structure, yet is balanced by its dominant and luxurious materiality. The floating marble shelf suspended underneath the seats creates a multifunctional surface to store, display and place, bringing together the two separate ends of the seats.
